THE EARTH SHIFT

In this article I really do feel that I have to settle the issue of `The End of the World' ` Armageddon' `The End Time' `The Earth Shift' or whatever other names have been applied to this period over the centuries. Religions warn of dire times to come and some even proclaim that it will be the end of the world, the end of the planet itself. The time when the antichrist will rule for seven years and terror, death & destruction spread across the face of the earth. Some religions teach that only their followers will be `saved' and everyone else consigned to `hell' forever.

As I have said many times it is the remit of religion to rule the people by fear. Fear of what will happen to them if they don't behave. I hope over the past two years publishing Spirituality Matters magazine, I have touched upon the hypocrisy of the churches and exposed a few of the institutions for what they really are. In a past issue I dealt with the whole idea of the word `sin' and explained that the initial interpretation of the ancient word was more than a little inaccurate. The real meaning in biblical times, was `to miss the mark, to miss the target' and was not meant to pass judgment but merely to say, “OK you didn't get it right this time, so try again, don't give up.” (You can see the `Sin' article reproduced by scrolling down this page a bit more!!)

So what is going to happen at the time of the Earth Shift? Well we are at that time right now. The process is underway. It is a process of enlightenment for many, many people and it is growing. Just as enlightenment grows, so too does man's greed and his love of all material possessions. The Churches will try to hang on to their old controlling ways and their blind dogma, even in the face of true enlightenment. So in this, the prophecies forewarning the persecution to come for Catholics and other radical Christians are not necessarily incorrect, but perhaps they are misinterpreted by those who cannot see beyond their dogma-blinkered eyes. The church of Rome's prophets behold people losing their faith. They describe Christian sheep abandoning the cathedrals, not obeying the pope, and so on. From the standpoint of the traditionalists the coming times when the old-time religion is criticized and abandoned must look like the end of the world. Perhaps it is the end - of their world. What the church sees as their final persecution could actually be the next quantum awakening of human intelligence.

When I examine the prophecies of the Roman Catholic apocalypse or the other Christian judgment day scenarios I feel the chill of a shadow which has cast its fearful darkness wherever the love of Christ has passed. It has been my experience that wherever goes the graceful mystery of the Holy Trinity of God the father, God the son and God the Holy Ghost, there follows the dark silhouette of an anti-trinity - one of which I feel the church has been demonically possessed since its early Romanization.

Fear - the father. Sin - the Son. And the Holy Ghost of Guilt.

To condemn others in prophecy because they have not measured up as spiritually pure enough to live in God's final paradise will be seen as one of the prophecy's greatest goofs. Events in the near future will show that Christian prophets were projecting an ancient misunderstanding onto what they feared would come during a new and unpredictable era in human history.

The real Last Judgment is the day when judgments as such, not people, are consigned to the eternal flames - along with fear, sin and guilt. In the era of spirituality which is to come, when each person will be known by what he or she feels in their hearts and the life they live in balance with those feelings and with nature, the labels of catholic, protestant, orthodox or any one of the other 300 religions will be discarded and religion as we have known it will come to an end.

Along side all of this the wars will rage as man struggles to maintain his material possessions, his lands and his money and it is Mother Nature who will take them away.

Global Warming: yes it is happening and it is all part of this Earth Shift. The planet will survive as it progresses towards its next cycle. By the time man has finished fighting his wars the surface of Mother Earth will be scarred and wounded. But survive it will. Churches will fall, financial institutions will fall, money will be worthless and the planet will smolder, and through it all real enlightenment will take a hold. If you live a deeply spiritual life then you are already well prepared for what is to come. Neal Sutton

SEX AND YOU Good I've got your attention!

As we go through this wonderful life full of trials and tribulations that test us on a daily basis, the last thing we need is wrong teachings or doctrine taking away one of the greatest gifts that `God' `Great Spirit' whoever, gave us. Just about the most marvellous, wonderful and mind blowing gift was the gift of sex! Now, I don't mean sex between two people who hardly know each other, for it is devoid of the depth of feeling between the two people and whilst it may be just great at the time, it is always a whole lot more mind-blowing is real love is involved, because that is where real love erupts to the surface.

Through the ages the church has taught you that sex is wrong and a sin unless you are married. The puritans taught that sex was a sin and dirty, an idea still carried in the hearts and minds of many today. (dying dogma doesn't like to let go!) The whole act of loving was shrouded in a veil of terrible sin.

So now let us set the record straight.

Making love is the most precious gift and it should not be considered a sin by anyone, because IT IS NOT. Nature has made the expression of total love such a wonderfully pleasurable experience for two people. Making love is the epitome of our earthly atonement with the power of love itself as an inspiring positive emotion. If everyone made love more often and felt the joy that it brings between people, that joy would spill over into their daily lives and experiences and people would be happier in themselves and to everyone they meet.

The Church though, seems obsessed with telling you that this love is bad. So committed are they that some churches even ban the priesthood from getting with a woman at all!!!!

Why would the Church ban the priesthood from experiencing what amounts to, the epitome of God's works? He is the God of Love, after all. This denies his workforce of any first hand experience and knowledge of this type of profound love and it is another rule made by man. The Church though really believes that making love and the joining of two people in the act of love is corruption! Unless of course, those two people have been joined together in marriage by the Church, then apparently there is no corruption. So, God's greatest gift to two people only becomes acceptable when the Church says it is OK! Marriage is a man made institution and it does not form a part of any pre-requisite from God for two people who are in love, to make love.

MAKING LOVE OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE IS NOT A SIN.

DON'T LET ANY PRIEST TELL YOU THAT IT IS.

Love is divine. If two people are in love, then nothing is more natural than for them to `make love'. It is the epitome of a very positive emotion. When there are so many negative emotions like hatred and anger in the world today, the expression of such a positive emotion in such an all-consuming way is pleasing to the spirit world. Marriage is not important to God. Love is what is important to God. To say, as the Church clearly does, that you must get married before you can make love, that no matter what, the marriage cannot be dissolved, and then to say that if you do dissolve it you cannot be forgiven, is stupidity beyond belief. They impose, then judge, condemn and then outcast. However, two people who meet and just `have sex' after only a short while without the deep feeling of love between them, or respect for one another, just cheapen themselves and give themselves too freely. They should really wait for that special person for true love to be involved. By not waiting though, there is no sin before God but they can affect their self-esteem. I am so glad that some of these rules have been relaxed as the church struggles to come to terms with modern life. Dogma, rules intransigence and when it suits them, a rethink! Such institutions are doomed to fail. And it is because they teach not the truth but only control.

Right from the start and the Garden of Eden, the bible portrays the female as the villain. She is the corrupter of man! Make no mistake, our patriarchal Churches have fun demeaning and blaming the female. In the New Testament we see phrases like `keep your women silent in Church'. And does it not seem strange that we have a male Holy Trinity. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost. A clear agenda is evident to all readers that women are `unworthy'. But this is clearly wrong. It is just another part of the dogma that is doomed to fail.

Be alive in the joy of living, spread happiness, love and peace. And don't let the church worry you into an early grave! Live & Love and the Angels will smile.

UFOs - THE WATCHERS

The Higher Evolved Beings

There are 700,000 million, million, million stars in the known universe similar to our sun. Most of them will have many planets spinning happily around them. To believe that this planet is the only one with life on it is naïve in the extreme. There are many many planets like ours with life upon them. All are going through epochs of evolvement, just as we are coming to the end of our 4th epoch. Higher evolved spirits take many forms and have lived lives on many planets as well as this one. Higher evolved spirits are with us now as they have always been. Watching. Higher evolved beings can live earthly existences on evolved planets. They have the knowledge of the laws of the universe that allow them to traverse great distances with ease. Only higher evolved beings are allowed to do this. Rest assured, the science of the materialistic being will never be allowed to progress to allow appreciable space travel.

Those of you who have read Shirley Maclaine's book or seen the DVD `Out on a Limb' will know of her experiences with these beings in Peru. Those of you who have read Jamie Sams `Sacred Path' will know of the vision quests she experienced in which the `sky peoples' as she referred to them, were present. I quote from the book:

“I was sitting on an enormous table made of a slab of pewter coloured stone. The council that sat at this table numbered over four hundred. The shock of seeing their faces nearly sent me crashing back into my body on the physical plane. They were the races that came from the stars. Some appeared to be earthlike but most of the others were races that I had never imagined possible before. I understood for the first time how the Kachinas must have looked to the Hopis who greeted them.

The sky brothers and sisters were an odd assortment of races who enveloped me with warm feelings of goodwill and caring. Despite the love being emitted, I was still aghast at their appearances. Some appeared to be over seven feet tall with golden hair and very blue eyes and were very much like earth people. Others were three to four feet high with enormous eyes that were all jet black with light bulb shaped heads and web-like feet. All together there must have been over seventy-five species of extra-terrestrials.

I looked around the table and smiled at each being, seeing past their outward appearance until I understood the inner beauty of this variety of races. The Sacred Path of universal wisdom also has to do with the ability to accept the unusual or bizarre with grace and understanding. I was stunned to see a few faces that were part of Earth's history.

It was an astounding vision, and I was endowed during that time with a profound understanding of what it was to be a universal being rather than a limited entity. I found that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that all races of our universe are ready to assist us”

At this point I could mention the many occurrences of `UFO' activity and sightings, but I have done this many times. As I prepare this piece for the web site, many sightings of UFOs are reported across Britain once again. The debate concerning life on other planets begins again amid the spiritually blinkered.

But do not doubt. The Higher Evolved beings are here with us. I have seen them. I have seen their craft move in the sky slowly and precisely. As we near the most turbulent time in our earth shift they will be ever more present.

SIN. Just what does this word really mean?

Sin. It is a word that instils fear into the hearts of the Christian community because it covers so many things that we all love to do. Making love, looking at a pretty girl, and for some the simple act of eating pork! Sin can cover a multitude of normal everyday stuff that we do. In fact, the church has got so many sins listed it is just about impossible to get through the day without having `sinned' several times!

So lets take a closer look at the word `Sin'. Originally it comes from the aramic word that when translated means something quite different. It means to `miss the mark' or `miss the target'. In other words that you have tried and failed this time but have another go. It does not mean that you have offended God and the Angels and that this will be entered into the ledger of life so that you can answer for your terrible deed on judgement day… No! You see how a great retribution theme has developed around this wrongful interpretation? The church is off on one again, judging and condemning with the lake of fire never too far away!

Of course it would be impossible now to attach `missing the mark' to the long list of what the church calls sin. Many of the so-called sins….simply do not exist.

So don't go on living your life worrying about sin. So long as you treat everyone well, live your life in love and harmony with people, animals, plants and all of nature, you won't go far wrong.

Someone once said to me….When God created man - she was only joking!!!!

BE THE DIFFERENCE!

For the last two thousand years (and probably before that) religious intolerance has been one of the primary reasons why peoples across the planet have not been able to `get on' together. I forget who it was who said, “For good men to do evil it takes religion” but it certainly appears to be true. Is there a religion anywhere that does not preach love, compassion and understanding at its heart? I cannot think of one. So please explain to me someone, why it is that there is so much hatred across the world in the name of religion. Muslims hold placards aloft demanding that someone should die because of something they might have said. And it is not just today that the problem has been with us.

The Roman Catholics were extremely intolerant of anyone who did not accept Catholicism as the orthodox religion; indeed, anyone daring to differ in any way were immediately branded as heretics and hunted, tortured to confess all manner of heresy and then burned at the stake, if they survived the interrogation!

Who can forget the shocking pictures of protestant school children having to face a barrage of spitting, shouting and verbal abuse from Catholic adults because their route to school took them down a Catholic street? The children were as young as seven and eight and were crying hysterically for fear of what these `adults' may do.

What kind of God would anyone be following that would condone such shockingly infantile and cowardly behaviour towards children? What kind of God is happy to see his representatives on earth torturing and burning his `children'? What kind of god wants any kind of negative activity from anyone? What kind of God wants any negative thoughts from anyone?

Just as love, compassion and happiness are positive emotions and the epitome of everything that spirit requires of us in order to grow, so too are hatred, greed and anger very negative emotions that can and do damage your spirit or karma.

It does not matter to me what religion you follow. I don't care whether you feel that you must pray every half hour, or whether you feel it is wrong to eat pork on a Friday. I don't care if you feel you have to cover your body in tattoos and run naked up the Blackpool tower if you feel it makes you closer to God, whoever you perceive him or her to be. All these things are the rules of your particular `religion' and they do not come direct from spirit. They are rules made by people sometime in the past. If your religion requires you to hate and murder, then you do your spirit untold harm. The only thing that spirit requires of you, that your spirituality may grow, your karma positively affected, is that you love more people, love the people you meet, be tolerant of the differences you perceive. Be compassionate to everyone. Help everyone who needs your help. Freely give it for it is a gift for you to pass on. In a world of hatred and intolerance you must be the difference. There will never be a massive change for the better unless we all become part of its creation. YOU can be a big part of it! BE the difference you wish to see in the world. You should do this above all else in your life.

GOLD WRAPPING PAPER

Some time ago a mother punished her five year old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and she became even more upset when the child used the gold paper to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless the little girl brought the gift box to her mother the next morning and said “This is for you, mummy”

The mother was embarrassed by her earlier over-reaction, but her anger flared again when she opened the box and found it was empty. She spoke to her daughter in a harsh manner . “Don't you know young lady, when you give someone a present, there's supposed to be something inside the package?”

She had tears in her eyes as she said “Oh mummy, its not empty! I blew kisses into it until it was full.” The mother was crushed. She fell on her knees and put her arms around her little girl, and she begged her forgiveness for her thoughtless anger.

An accident took the life of the little girl only a short time later and it is told that the mother kept the gold box by her bed all the years of her life. Whenever she was discouraged or faced difficult problems she would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us, as human beings, have been given a golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, our families, friends and from God.

There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

KEEP YOUR WOMEN SILENT IN CHURCH!

This little statement is made in the bible by Paul. A little statement it may be but because it is in the bible and because many people still believe that that book is the undisputed word of God, every single word of it, women have been unfairly discriminated against and excluded for nearly 2000years.

We know that Paul did not particularly like women due to the high regard in which Jesus held Mary Magdalene. We know that she was not, as the bible will tell you, a penitent whore. We know that she was a High Priestess and that furthermore, she was the wife of Jesus. We know that there were many female disciples although they were totally ignored by the composers of the bible.

When Paul asked Jesus why he let Mary Magdalene speak about God and Spirit he said; “Whosoever speaks the word of God is divinely ordained to speak”. That is as clear as it can be, isn't it?

In conversation with a church elder recently, I asked why some churches objected so vehemently to female priests or vicars. I was told that the church did not object to visiting female vicars but that a female should never be allowed to be the vicar in charge. When I asked why not he said that Paul had said that the leader of your church must be a man of good character. The most important part of the statement, to me would be the `good character' piece. That was the essence of the statement after all. The male dominated Christian church has latched onto the `man' word and applied that as the letter of the law rather than the `good character.

So where does this regarding females as some kind of inferior being, come from? Well it started with Paul, was adopted by Constantine and his emerging church of Rome and was incorporated into the works chosen to make up the bible. And for nearly 2000 years it has made the position of the spiritual female just that much harder.

The situation was made entirely worse by Pope Gregory 1st in the relatively early days of the Roman Catholic Church, who declared that, as the Gospel of Luke had declared that Mary had `had seven demons cast out of her' that she must have `perfumed her flesh with forbidden acts.' Since that time the church has wrongly portrayed Mary Magdalene as a prostitute - may the Angels forgive them. As Lynn Picknett says in her excellent book, `Mary Magdalene - Christianity's Hidden Goddess':

Only in 1969 did the Roman Catholic Church repeal Gregory's labelling of Mary Magdalene as a whore, thereby admitting their error. Though the image of Mary Magdalene as a penitent whore has remained in the public teachings of all Christian denominations. Like a small erratum buried in the back pages of a newspaper, the church's correction goes unnoticed while the initial defamatory article continues to influence readers.

In `The Templar Revelation' by Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince the authors, when talking of Mary Magdalene state that:

It is clear from the way that she is mentioned that she was the most important of all Jesus' female disciples, almost all of whom have been almost totally ignored by the church. First century Jews may have had sociological and religious problems with the concept of important women, simply because of their culture, more recent critics have no excuse.

During the never-ending arguments about women priests, extraordinary misrepresentations of Jesus' followers were cited as proof that women were not meant to be members of the clergy.

Love is within all of us. Love is in all of nature. The Earth is your mother. She gives you all you need to exist and live, much as your biological mother does. The love of the mother knows no bounds and is unconditional. This love and at this level, is only found in the female. Through the female the male finds the experience of true divine love, and through making love, he connects with Great Spirit at the ultimate level for this earthly plane.

So it is quite clear that the female on earth is love. The church preaches love but tries to exclude the female, declaring that she is unworthy to preach!! Folly indeed. Until it can learn to warm its cold and unfeeling heart towards the female it is far from spirit.

Everyone is of equal importance to spirit, for each of you are sparks from the light, but the female you should revere. Females, through love, carry new life in their bodies and bring that new life into the world. Their cycle of life and egg producing itself coincides with the cycle of the Moon, itself long held as a symbol of femininity and love. Spiritual females should always allow Moonlight to fall upon them while they sleep. Females nurture the children, love them, teach them and show them right from wrong. At this time all of this comes from a female living in a world that is far from being deeply spiritual, a world that struggles to comprehend true spirituality. Can you imagine the heights of understanding and love that can be imparted by a female living a deeply spiritual life.

Before the bible writers, where were the enlightened ones most prevalent in the preceding centuries? Why, Egypt of course!

Pythagoras, Pluto and many other early scholars and thinkers studied with the priests at Heliopolis in Egypt. Over the preceding millennia those priests numbered many females among them. There was always a woman in the Temple Of Thoth holding the title, `Mistress of the House of Books' which included the Egyptian Book Of The Dead. And it is worthy of note that women in ancient Egypt were the freest in the world both legally and morally. It is a far cry from our so-called Christian churches whose bible teaches, `Keep your women silent in church' who fought the ordination of women, and still do!

A church built to control the people through imparting fear of what may await them after death, and in suppressing the female, can only implode, for it does not teach the truth.
